Pappa introduced me to Sugru a few years ago. If you don't know what it is, it's like a a piece of putty which you can mould to almost any requirement and after being exposed to air for x amount of time, it sets, glued to whatever surface you've adhered it to. This could be to a draw, around a cable, to itself...the possibilities are endless.

Personally, I've used it to protect iPhone cables from breaking, repairing a leak in a piece of water piping and protecting a door from a the metal on a clothes hanger. It sticks to pretty much anything, but retains it's softness and flexibility.

The main reason I'm mentioning all of this, is that Sugru are opening up to crowd investment next Tuesday (26th May). I'm certainly going to put some money back into this great product. Why don't you have a look at doing the same?

If you want to find out more about what you can use Sugru for, take a look at their blog.
