There are always posts in the news or on social media which make me even prouder to be part of the Scout Movement in the UK.

The World Scout Organisation (WSO) and the Scouts in Nepal are assisting, in uniform, with the relief efforts in Nepal after the horrific 7.9-magnitude earthquake which hit Nepal on 25 April.

“All the tents we have, we have given to the people in need. We are helping them in every way we can,” said Shrijan Amatya, a Rover Scout from Nepal.

These aren't just normal people. These are Scouts. It's an incredibly risky task in which they are taking part, and they do so with no requirement of payment.

Want to help? Please go the World Scout Foundation link and donate.

If you're involved in Nepal, I hope you stay safe.

I'm Scout and Proud.
