The company behind the blogging platform I'm using - Ghost - have taken an extremely bold step and published their revenue figures for the world to see.

My two main points of view:
1. If the company is doing well, any stakeholders looking at the figures will be pleased, so long as they look long-term.
2. If the company isn't doing well, stakeholders may review their use of the company and it's platform - could become a downward spiral.

What if more companies did this? It certainly provides greater transparency, which is something I prefer. I'm all for revealing the truth, rather than hide facts and figures away behind an iron-curtain.

Why not take a look for yourself at their baremetrics page?
